Answers to frequently asked questions about learning kitesurfing.

Most people are able to ride independently after 12-15 hours of training (about 4-5 windy days). The pace of learning depends on individual abilities, weather conditions, and previous experience with other water or board sports.
Yes, with proper training kitesurfing is a safe sport. Lo Stagnone is a perfect spot for beginners - shallow water, no waves, and an enclosed lagoon. We use the latest equipment with good safety systems, and our instructors are IKO and PZKite certified.
Swimsuit, sunscreen SPF 50+, sunglasses with a strap, water shoes (optional). It's also worth getting leggings and a long lycra - local seaweed can irritate or burn the skin. All kitesurfing equipment (kite, board, harness, wetsuit) is provided in the course price.
We accept students from 12 years old. For younger children (8-12 years, minimum 35kg) we offer special training with smaller kites. There is no upper age limit - we have taught people aged 65+
The season in Lo Stagnone lasts all year but the best conditions are from April to October. Without a wetsuit, we ride from mid-June to mid-September.
Yes! We help organize accommodation near the spot. We have verified apartments and B&Bs in various price ranges, all within 5-10 minutes of the training site. We can also arrange transfers from Trapani or Palermo airports.
Yes! Each student receives a waterproof radio, allowing the instructor to correct technique and give tips in real time while riding. This significantly speeds up learning - you don't have to go back to the instructor for every piece of advice. We maintain constant contact even when you're far from the instructor.
Private lessons (1 instructor : 1 student) cost 70 EUR/h, and group lessons (1 instructor : 2 students) are 60 EUR/pp/h. The price includes all kitesurfing equipment and radio communication with the instructor. You only pay for completed hours - no wind, no charge!
The easiest way is to fly to Trapani (airport 15 min from the spot) or Palermo. RyanAir operates direct flights from several European cities. Flights are often cheaper than driving! We organize free transfers from Trapani airport.
No! All kitesurfing equipment - kite, board, harness and wetsuit - is included in the course price. We use the latest F-One and Nobile gear. If you're an independent kitesurfer (Level 3+), you can also rent equipment for self-riding from 40 EUR/h.
