How we teach
kitesurfing
We train according to international IKO and PZKite standards. The program is divided into 4 levels - from first contact with the kite to advanced tricks.
Intro & Bodydrags
This is an introduction to kitesurfing. At this stage you will gain the theoretical knowledge necessary to practice this sport independently and learn to control the kite.
What will we teach you?
- Wind window theory
- How to prepare kitesurf gear
- How the kite works and how it generates power
- Kite control on the water
- Operating power regulation and safety systems
- We will discuss what may go wrong and how to avoid it
First starts
We will prepare you as quickly and safely as possible for your first starts on the board. This is the moment you have been waiting for - waterstart and first meters!
What will we teach you?
- Putting on a board with a kite at 12 o’clock
- Drifting with a board with a kite in the zenith
- Preparing to start on a board
- Making first tacks yourself
- Control the kite while moving
- Stopping
Improvement
At this stage we will teach you how to go where you want. After completing level three you will be an independent kitesurfer!
We only rent equipment for independent kiting to those who have completed Level 3.
What will we teach you?
- Kite freely left/right
- Going upwind
- Performing controlled turns (tacks)
- Managing speed
- First jumps!
Freestyle
Already know how to tack but getting bored with left-right riding? It is a great time to take some freestyle lessons. Jumps are the most fun - we will teach you how to jump through the zenith and how to do UNHOOKED tricks!
What will we teach you?
- High jumps
- Toeside turns
- Transition jumps
- Backrolls / Frontrolls
- Kiteloops
- Raley - first unhooked trick
- Many other advanced UNHOOKED tricks!
Included in training price
Everything you need to learn. You only pay for hours spent.
Latest equipment
Latest F-One and Nobile kites and boards. Safe, reliable, easy to learn on.
Instructor
IKO/PZKite certified instructor. Training in Polish and English.
Radio
We train using walkie-talkies. The instructor corrects your technique in real time, even when you're far away.
What the training looks like
We schedule the lesson
In the evening we check the forecast and agree on a specific time for the next day. We flexibly adapt to conditions.
Preparation and briefing
Together we set up the equipment, discuss current conditions and session goals. This is an important part of learning!
Water session
Practice with the instructor – from beach exercises to board riding.
Summary
We discuss progress, analyze mistakes, and plan what to work on next time.
Lunch and recovery
Time to rest and eat. The body needs to recover before the next session.
Another lesson or chill
If conditions and energy allow - a second session. Or relax and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in Sicily.
