Although you can kite all year round in Sicily, the best conditions in terms of temperature and comfort are from April to November. This is when the season is in full swing, and our school is open, offering excellent conditions for learning and improving your kitesurfing skills.

Perfect Conditions in Lo Stagnone

Lo Stagnone Bay is a true paradise for kitesurfers. With its shallow and flat water and thermal winds, this spot is ideal for both beginners and advanced riders. Kitesurfing Season

The season in Sicily lasts from April to November, but the best months for kitesurfing are summer and early autumn. During this time, you can expect a northern, thermal wind ranging from 15 to 25 knots, which is cool and steady, as well as a southern, warmer, and more gusty wind, reaching 20-35 knots.

Temperatures from June to September average around 30°C, with August sometimes reaching up to 40°C. In October, temperatures drop to about 20-25°C. From mid-June to early October, you can kite without wetsuits, significantly increasing comfort.
